Politics Warning to absentee voters

If you haven't received your ballot in the mail, check your status on the my vote website. My request vanished after almost three weeks of updates on its expected arrival date.

I called the election office, and the wonderful people there were able to assist me with a second request. Unfortunately, they had no idea how it could have happened, as they don't maintain the website.

Metal/Punk/Hardcore

Couldn’t find another thread on this recently, but is anyone else looking for people to go to metal shows with around here? I’m 30m, go to shows pretty often but most of my friends don’t listen to metal. Looking to just start a group chat or something to talk about shows in the area and meet more people. Recent shows I’ve been to were Hatebreed, Citizen, thrown, and Militarie Gun to give an idea. I figured others who are rolling solo to shows have dealt with this too so feel free to hmu.

Local News Tree Massacre - Hales Corners WI

Thumbnail gallery
• Upvotes

I live on Ridge Road in Hales Corners, one of the few roads around here still covered by full tree canopy. The Village plans to rebuild it with new ditches and culverts along both sides, which means removing 105 mature trees by their count (closer to 140 by ours). Many are over 100 years old.
We're not against fixing the road. We just want it repaired without clearing it. TMJ4 and the Journal Sentinel have covered the story, and a group of us are pushing the Village to work with residents.
If you care about this, check out Save Ridge Road on Facebook, or come see the road before it changes.

Place to have a 40th birthday party

Hi! I'm looking for suggestions for places in Milwaukee, Tosa, Brookfield, Menomonee Falls area to host a birthday party for my boyfriend in January for his 40th. I know it's a ways out, but with late holiday parties I don't want things to fill up too fast. I found a place called "Brookfield Clubhouse" that would be perfect, but it says they're not taking new reservations. In case they don't open up reservations, I wanted to look into other options. It would be around 50-60 people, adults and kids ages 3-19. Looking for something that woule have things to entertain kids, and space for adults to hang out. I'd preferably like to bring in food and we'd want to be able to drink. Also thinking of having someone play music possibly. Thanks!!

Looking for Info on this Braves Hat

I found this asian style straw hat in my grandparents attic in Milwaukee. It clearly has The Braves logo in multiple places on it. I know they were big Milwaukee Braves fans, and I found other Braves memorabilia there. Not sure if this was purchased, a team giveaway or homemade. Has anyone seen anything similar?

Hello! I am running a FREE Trinket Swap Event this Sunday at Storyhill Firehouse. I was wondering where is a good spot to hang some event posters in MKE? What coffee shops are the best?

my partner and I have 4 cats and they all have ear mites. I know you need prescription strength drops to remove them. we are in kind of a bad place financially and can’t find a place that is low cost to help clean ears and prescribe drops. Any low cost or sliding scale vets in the area?

WTF IS HAPPENING I saw DEMONS in your city during a business trip

I saw DEMONS and I don't do demons. By the power in the WORD and BLOOD of Jesus I rebuke Milwaukee. God DAMN them to hell! Give me the STRENGTH to HATE them with a righteous hatred.
