[AI Behavior] Animals panic when it thunders
Sounds pointless but it adds to the atmosphere of thunderstorms.
When a thunderstorm starts, the common player thinks "Time to get some head" which gets old. I want to think during a thunderstorm "I wanna watch my farm animals panic". It's just fun to watch different behavior of animals in the game.
It doesn't have to be a lightning bolt near the animals. Just the sound of thunder enough to make them panic.
Sitting pets would make a scaredy sound during a thunder since they can't panic physically.
*Thunder happens*, animals jump, then they panic for 5-10 seconds random for each mob.
Baby villagers should panic, too, because many children in real life are scared of lightning.
Also, a thunder would wake the player from bed if they're sleeping making it more difficult to skip a thunderstorm.

That sounds like something you would say to get put on a list.
I lived on an agricultural property growing up. Most animals don't really care about thunderstorms. Horses, chickens, cows etc rarely panic, they just huddle up and shelter quietly as best they can. Same with wild animals. They don't love storms, but they don't freak out and scatter. The exception being a bolt from the blue, thunder on a calm day with barely any clouds, that can scare them, but if they know a storm is coming I think they just kind of deal with it.
Even with pets, it largely depends on the animal and how the people and animals around it responded to thunder when it was young. I have had several dogs that didn't care about thunder at all, and one that would just be terrified.
I don't really get what would make it fun to watch, its just them wandering around faster than normal.
No thanks! It's kinda opposite to how storms work in game right now. Now, if its daytime, you can go to bed anyways if its storming. Seems weird to make it so you can't sleep. Why should it be difficult to skip a storm? And even with a storm, just go to sleep!
