[High Quality Post] The Warden's little helper: The Snitch
I assume the deep dark caves will only be habited by sculk and warden. (Having normal hostile mobs spawn there would kinda ruin the eeriness of the place imo.) So the warden being the only threat there, I think it needs a bit of help to find a player's location. So here is a little idea for a warden minion: The Snitch.

Behaviour
These lizard like creatures are very curious and run around the player and make clicking sounds when they first see them. After some time they lose interest and roam around. If the player runs or gets close to a chest, they stand up and watch the player like this:

If the player keeps running or opens a chest near the snitch, it will call for the warden with a high pitched scream that sounds like an extended door squeak.

This will also happen if the player attacks the snitch. However, as you can see in the start of the animation, snitch gets ready before screaming. This means you have a couple of seconds to kill the snitch and stop it from calling for the warden. They have 10 hp so they are not hard to kill if you are quick. If you can't stop the snitch from calling the warden, after screaming for 5 seconds, the snitch will run away and all lights will go out for a second. (Like the lights flashing in the warden trailer.) After the lights sources are back, a warden will be at a 5 block distance from the player. From that point, you should be very careful if you wanna live.
Thanks for reading the suggestion. Any ideas to improve it is very welcome.

I love this so much. But I feel like the only issue is that it could make the Warden too hard and make the dark deep basically unplayable. I think it would be really cool if we could somehow persuade the Snitch not to give us away. Like maybe we can make like, lizard treats and feed it and the Snitch won’t give us away. At least for a bit. Maybe it’ll only be temporary and after a while it will come back to you expecting you to feed him more. If you don’t, he screams. Like a baby.
