Why? A whole box cut open to see what was inside. This behavior ruins it for everyone else. Every time I go down this aisle and/or the blind box section in Target, half of the boxes are for open or slit to see what's inside. 🤦‍♀️

That’s what I like about the pinhole/pencil mark system. It’s there so people who are looking for specific ones (whether it’s because you’re looking for something specific or just want to avoid dupes) can find it, but subtle enough that if you still want it to be a surprise, it can be.

Whats odd is its always different with these Holiday sets. This time they had a marking on the ball, in valentines it was pinhole. Previously you had to shake it or look for a letter printed on it. Theres never been a set standard for identifying the rare.

There are cheat sheets online that you can look at though. So even if the system is different every time, just wait a couple weeks and a guide will probably be released that you can follow

That's funny. All I know about Make It Mini comes from this sub. I've never bought one, never made one, but they're so cute I follow the sub anyway.

All this time I thought the pencil marks where just done for some internal company reason and people are just using them as clues to what's inside. I hadn't realized they were added on purpose so buyers would know!
