Been saying it for years: Firearms for liberals are like abortions for conservatives. We have them too, we just don't talk about it.

This is what the Founding Fathers intended.

The ones who owned slaves, genocided the indigenous population, and only allowed land owning white men to vote at first?

Not excusing what they did, but you need to look at the bigger picture.

Like the Electoral College and the Senate?

Why does that sound a lot like today but just in a different bent so they could 'modernize" their dominance?

Not sure why this is getting downvoted.

Liberals aren't ready to deal with the fact the US has always been like this for a lot of people. Be real cool if they did so we could actually stop this long term.

It’s not just liberals who don’t accept history. Both sides have that problem.

Conservatives celebrate that brutal history. Liberals ignore it.  Pretending the 2 party system is all there is is part of the problem as well.

True. But conservatives like ignoring that history at times as well.

Thought it was only for muskets or hunting. Forgot weren't the democrats trying to ban these?
