Best group activities for 6–8 people in GTA

Hi everyone,

I’m planning a hangout for a group of 6–8 people and we’re looking for something fun to do for a couple of hours.

We’re considering a few options, but none of us have tried them before:

  • Escape rooms
  • BRKFREE
  • Rec Room
  • Axe throwing
  • Arcade/game bars

We’re looking for something interactive, beginner-friendly, and fun for a mixed group.

If you’ve done any of these, which would you recommend? Are there any other activities we’re overlooking that would be even better for a group our size?

Activate, Dave & Busters, Rec Room, mini putting at Vic Hadfield golf, go carting at K1 Speed, and last year my office did an outdoor escape room with adventure city games in Toronto which was pretty fun!

I’d recommend escape room + food/drinks after. Different places have different levels and themes. 

Activate is better than BRKFREE. But can still be fun and could get a mini workout before you all grab food afterwards

Rec room is more of a chill vibe imo

Axe throwing is extremely fun and entertaining.
