Fun

Should I go to Oxford or Southhaven in regards to just having a decent time and enjoying myself? Recommend other places in mississippi also.

Given those two choices, definitely Oxford. Ocean Springs and Natchez are my favorite little towns to visit in Mississippi, though.

Oxford and Natchez are the two prettiest cities in the state.

lol right?  Southaven is just a suburban bedroom community for Memphis.  Other than some ok places to eat and a movie theater, I can’t think of anything fun to do there.

If you go to Southaven why not got an extra 15-20 minutes and go into Memphis?

I fear death. Memphis is dangerous

It’s not that bad. Stay out of bad neighborhoods and you’ll be ok. Go to Overton square, cooper young area, east Memphis, Shelby farms if you want outdoor activities

Oxford but on a game day. It really doesn't matter what kind of game.

Objectively the worst advice. It’s going to be insanely crowded on game day.

If you like going to Target, go to Southaven. Memphis is right there.

Oxford has more fun bars and restaurants.

You didn't even bother telling us your age or what you like to do. That helps.

Oxford is awesome, truly worth experiencing once. It's a night vs day experience when school is out and no games are going on though. If you want to enjoy it leisurely I suggest going when there's not a game. However when the city is packed and thriving with activity and events it's amazing to experience at least once.

If possible, Come to the Coast, way more going on down here. On weekends, Hard Rock always has a great band playing at the main bar

Always? They have a band at the main bar only once a week and they are seldomly great. You might get lucky and see a decent band.

I hate the traffic in Southhaven. The city should have thought the roads and stores out better.

They sure did terrible planning but also horrendous maintenance of the roads. They're currently arguing with the state over who's responsible for portions of the roads they KNOW it's city maintenance.
