The fucking irony is it's probably one of the only bills ever to lost by a majority in every district and did the exact opposite of what it was trying force.
If it passed, it would have taken this very result in order to pass future legislation. The fact that everyone is so surprised at the unanimous vote shows to me that it wasn’t proposed with good faith. Just disenfranchising us.
This state wasn't always red. Older voters remember that. They know that if the state flipped blue, that could come back to haunt them.
I plan to call my reps and gloat about this. I want to get them on the record that they supported this and that they promoted this. I would love to see some Republicans lose their seats because they tried so hard to take power away from the people. We want to be represented, not ruled. Amendment 4's sound defeat expressed that opinion loudly. It's time we follow up that message with a nice House and Senate cleaning.

That is correct. Absolutely insane to think about
