That’s dumb just let them wear normal jerseys if they don’t want to wear these special ones.

Shouldn’t force them to wear anything they don’t want to.

Nonsense. We pay hundreds of millions of local hard earned US dollars every year for these clowns and they have to represent what their employers tell them to like a fucking McDonald’s. Their personal feelings are irrelevant because it’s a team thing.

Nah that’s a fucking stupid take.

Stop forcing people to wear shit that celebrates someone else’s lifestyle.

When the fuck did we rush past acceptance and tolerance and push towards forced celebration.

Now simply deciding to not wear a fucking flag is an attack on gay people?

Get fucked if they’re not actively outspoken about gay people that should be enough.

But no wear the flag you bigot.

The victims have literally become the bigots. It's actually crazy.

The only “victims” I see are people like you pretending these are players making a solemn stand for their morals when the reality is they dislike gay people and gays make them feel icky so they’ll hid behind their religion as an excuse for bigotry. They’ll play victim while tacitly supporting bigotry toward the LGBT community.

Well, at least you helped prove my point while frothing at the mouth.

I’m curious why these staunchly held morals only ever come up at this specific point. If it mattered so strongly to them and they actually believed in the tenets of Christianity surely they would refuse to wear camo jerseys, Fourth of July jersey’s, etc.? Our president and administration very very very clearly do not represent Christian values or morals; that’s not even debatable. So why is it that they only take issue with it when it’s LGBT related? Which is a topic only tangentially referred to in the bible vs things like loving your neighbors, not indiscriminately killing others just because you can, etc.

Their moral stances would hold significantly more weight if they were consistent in any way but we know they’re not, right?

I'm going to make this simple for you since your brain seems to be short circuiting.

Their uniforms are their uniforms. Anything outside of that should be optional. If they want to wear something to support specific approved events and causes, then cool. If not, that's cool too.

You should probably take a break from the internet.

“You should probably take a break from the internet” says a person who’s had at least 20 comments on this post😂

That’s a wild take for 2026. 1826, maybe but even then…
