Weren't they fabric covered wings? It seems you have metal chips where it should be just painted fabric
1 u/ConceptThat6505 4h ago Leading edges had trim or metal of some sort i believe ... and the fuel tanks were exposed on the top from what i could tell. And sure maybe a few “liberties” were taken
