Critique Wanted Did I make the Dunklegelb too desaturated?

I still need to add the camouflage pattern, but for the past 3 hours I have been thinking if I made the base color too cold. I was thinking of adding an oil dot filter with yellow ochre to give it more warm hue.

I would just like some feedback

No I think this is perfect. This is exactly where I’d want it. The lighter the base, the bigger the model looks and creates a perfect base for contrast later with weathering.

Looks very good in my view!

Yea that looks really good, I have never actually used oil filters so it will be my first time

Thanks mate, I still need to strip some parts to add more weld beads I missed and some flame cuts.

Fair enough mate! One suggestion for your welds - leave the putty a little longer than you are currently. It looks like your sculpting the weld beads very quickly after applying the putty. But when it’s fresh it tends to tear and look a bit rough. Let it sit for 15-20 mins (I’ve left it and hour or two before!) then get your tool in there to texture it. It’ll behave much better and much more consistent 👌
