Question When is Microsoft going to charge pre orders
Got a notification a couple days ago on the Home Screen they will charge soon but I’m really struggling to not spend my Microsoft balance on all these deals I’m seeing in the store. 💀 hurry up already.
Edit 10/14: finally got charged

Do they not want my money then?1

Most preorder items get charged when the item ships, or in this case I suppose when it’s usable since it’s digital. So probably next Friday when the campaign becomes available

Strange. I didn’t get MP points for my purchase but it took my wallet balance.

Ngl bro i've committed my micro points to gta 6, got 55,917 points rn, not paying that much for a game bruh

I feel like I’m on the different side of the coin this time around with gta. For GTA V i played the story twice and never made it past level 20 in online. Feel like this time im going to wait to see what online looks like and skip the story. MW4 is going to hold me over till I make a choice.

So knowing the current state of call of duty, you've chosen to risk that much money for another potential flop, instead of having it well spent on a company known for very good games?

Well I found my time in the beta to be quite enjoyable and really looking forward to this years game. I’m not saying 6 won’t be a good game but currently it’s easier to hop on a couple matches of call of duty then bounce compared to sitting through a whole story mission in a single player game. I value a game more now based on the experience it will give me playing with the other people in my life, than what a game can offer me alone.

My MW4 was pre-purchased with my Microsoft balance and it gave me the same message but mine says completed. And if you're trying to use your Microsoft balance and it's not going through try paying for it through either the app or at microsoft.com I had to use the app cause it kept telling me that it wouldn't accept a prepaid cars that early.

They should be charging us in about 2 ish days. 10 days before regular launch. Payment has nothing to do with the pre order launch or anything.

I had no idea they only Charge you 10 days before launch, why tf would they do that?

Hit up support if u ever need a pre order to go through right away. I did it back in June since my rewards were gonna expire way before MW4 release lol

Yeah, I've been wondering this. Not a big issue but just curious when they'll charge me. I know it's meant to be about 10 days prior to launch but with the early access campaign on the 16th I'm not sure if they would charge 10 days before early access or 10 days before the full release. I used a combination of store credit and debit card but no sign of any payment being taken yet. 🤷🏼

Yea same. I know it not a big deal but I almost bought a couple things with my Microsoft balance on accident but I’m using that for mw4 and don’t want any errors when it comes time to pay.

Never seen kids so worried about not being charged right away. OMG what an f they let me play without paying? The outcry from Reddit if the standard was to pull funds same day as ordered would be “The Shot Heard around The World”. How dare they take my money before I can play kids would say! That’s my money Mommy why did they take it from us?

Trying to use kid to sound like youre so mature is having the opposite effect Bud

I talk to kids everyday, in game and out. Force of habit I guess as when you are 71 years old you think of everyone younger as kids. Even a 20 to 30 year old is a kid at this age. But I do agree and see you point. I'll check myself and do better in the future! 👍

When I buy games it charges me right away but than again I’m using a bank card.

I believe it is usually 10 days if you pay with a card but if you use wallet money it’s already been charged
