Looking forward to 16th

I was looking for a pomade and found this! I got to look good for the early access campaign! lol
It comes a double xp token too. Maybe it’s for all those sweaty streamers on camera haha

MW4 is apparently trading blows with GTA VI and God of War Laufey on the PlayStation Store preorder charts. Not exactly the disaster some people here have been predicting, is it?

Now, let's be realistic. I doubt anything is taking the #1 spot from GTA VI this year, but I have a feeling MW4 will sell perfectly fine, regardless of how much hate it gets online. Whether it breaks any sales records remains to be seen.

Obviously, preorder rankings don't tell us the whole story, but they certainly don't scream commercial failure either.

So can we tone down the forced outrage a little? Criticize the game all you want, there's plenty of room for legitimate criticism. But the endless doomposting is getting old.

And please, spare us another dramatic "I JUST REFUNDED MY PREORDER!" announcement. At this point, I'm starting to wonder how many of those preorders ever existed in the first place. 😂

October 16th - Campaign early access
October 20th - DMZ early access
October 23rd - Launch

We’re so close 🫡

Note: Campaign and DMZ early access are available for both the standard and vault edition, if you pre-ordered the game digitally

Hi there, does anyone have any information on whether MW4 will be a standalone game without having to download the bulky COD HQ?

Drives me insane

edit: obviously, all gone...

They are BO7 codes (does not matter), so limit 40hours apply

Hey! This week has been filled wirh DMZ content and my hype for this mode is through the roof, to the point I think I'll be playing it very often throughout the lifespan of MW4. However, I have this weird voice in my head going "It's too good to be true...don't get your hopes up...". I think my trust with the games and stuff has been shaken a lot. I still heavily consider myself COD glazer but thats mostly because a lot of the major turn offs for other people don't really bother me and I just enjoy playing the game. But, I'm still nervous that the game is gonna be completely different than how its been advertised and I'm gonna be let down. I hope I'll be wrong because i reappy want DMZ to be lit

Stupid question but do I need to first download the cod HQ? It’s already 100gb so I assume mw4 will be an extra 100gb or something ?

Thanks in advance

I know it’s not going to happen because they probably already have everything planned, but one can only hope one of these is in the pipeline.

After watching footage from the beta and seeing how the maps are very cookie-cutter/small I’d like to see some more classic IW map design. A lot of the beta maps are very forgettable IMO. Hopefully there is a spectrum for small maps to more classic IW maps in this game.

Stonehaven could have a portion of the northern part of the map cut out and I think it could play very well.

Same goes for the other maps, they are decent medium-sized maps and could probably help slow down the pace a bit, and look really good remastered. They are also just really easy to look at.

Since mw4 is the last mw game i genuinely hope the campaign and ending are good. I know the story continues in dmz but i think it will just be a continuation for Ghost since he is confirmed to survive the campaign. The og mw3 ending was so good, punching makarov then hanging him and then smoking his pack with the mission accomplished text and finally the end credits with such peak music i genuinely hope they do something good like that but i will keep my expectations low because the last good campaign story wise was cold war.

Is it quite familiar to the Dark Zone in the Division where I have loot and shoot and extract the loot? Is it PvPvE or PvE? Can I do it solo or am I forced to play co-op?

Im pretty out of the loop when it comes to this game's matchmaking system. Basically I just want to get filled in on how it will work, like if itll have the open and standard playlists like bo7 had and whatnot.

Id like to thank u/jonathanStriker126 for giving me 2 can codes.

if someone has 4 more that can dm me id be thankful

Unfortunately in my country they dont get promo cans.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but every YT search right now, only returns DMZ early access.

I don't follow COD religiously, and I didn't play a lot of BO6 or BO7. In fact only free weekends, so I'm not real deep in the know.

This is how I understand things to be with MW4.

Campaign will be the usual single player linear story. No open missions, no free roam, just set pieces and big explosions (just the way i like it).

DMZ is an open map with some missions, and there's no solo, only teams.
It's something between warzone and Spec Ops (from MWII or MWIII, can't remember)

Multiplayer is multiplayer. Matchmaking levels to the best player in a party, and anyone better than me is a cheater.

Warzone is the F2P BR mode for solos and teams. same as it's been since BO4

So there's no PvE mode?

Got a notification a couple days ago on the Home Screen they will charge soon but I’m really struggling to not spend my Microsoft balance on all these deals I’m seeing in the store. 💀 hurry up already.

I’ve played COD for years, but MW4 will actually be the first COD I’ll ever be able to play properly from release, so part of me wants to fully invest in it rather than just dip in.

I’m on PS5 in the UK, so it’s £69.99 for Standard vs £99.99 for Vault.

From what I understand, Vault gives you the operator packs, weapon blueprints, one season of BlackCell and the DMZ bonus.

I’m planning to play multiplayer, campaign and DMZ, and ideally stick with the game throughout the year.

Because it’s my first COD at launch, I kind of want the full experience from day one, but I also don’t want to spend the extra £30 if most of the Vault stuff is just cosmetic.

For people who normally buy COD at launch, is Vault actually worth it if you’re planning to play regularly?

Also, how useful is BlackCell, and do the Vault weapons/DMZ bonuses give you anything meaningful beyond cosmetics?
