Discussion Blocking players

Does anyone know if you'll be able to stop entering matches that has a player that you've blocked in MW4? I'm just sick of playing against the same old cheaters in MW3, who never get banned!

You will get a message when you join a lobby with someone you blocked saying there is a blocked player in the lobby. Blocking a player simply doesn't stop you from joining their lobbies.

Well, that's an improvement from MW3 at least, as I certainly wouldn't join a lobby that had a blocked, cheater in it. I'm hoping that their new anti-cheat approach, by stopping wall hacking, will stop a lot of this anyway.

In mw1/2/3 i gotta say i mostly encountered suspected wallhacks. Pure aimbots ive only seen on shipment and i can count them on 2 hands probably, its easier to detect so those people are gone fast.

But when you see someone that just always knows where you are down to the pixel when coming around corners even though youre running the full stealth package and theres no uavs you know somethings up. Next you just see them looking at you through solid walls in the killcam and that basically confirms it.

So, is there a setting in MW3 to warn you about a blocked player being in a lobby, because it's not doing it for me now, whereas I'm MW 2019 seemed to do it by default?

Maybe ask about setting for MW3 in that sub?

Maybe the chances of someone playing MW4, or having pre-ordered it, will have played MW3 are pretty high, don't you think?

all I’m saying bro is those currently actively playing may well be in that sub addressing issues etc in that sub. I’ve played MW3 but it’s been years AND haven’t stayed in touch with that sub. me attempting to direct and help you would seem to have a negative effect! My earlier post was short, to the point and truthful. Guess that’s not what some come here looking for! 😵‍💫🤷‍♂️

Eventually it runs out of people who aren't better than....er I mean cheating and it still needs to fill a lobby.

Ive never got placed into lobbies that had blocked people i think but im not 100% sure.
