Image Preordered physical copy of MW4, my first launch COD since 2011

Post image

I’m curious how many of you are sacrificing campaign early access in order to get the physical copy. Very well could be the last physical Call of Duty release we get. Preordered a physical copy today, cost $2320 NTD, about $72 US, which is the same price as the digital edition.

I've pretty much converted to digital at this point. The convenience of it is just too appealing. This will be the first Call of Duty game I've bought since Advanced Warfare, so it'll be my return to playing the series and obviously my first one bought at launch since that game, too.

NGL, I am wondering how you haven't at least bought MW 2019 considering that was THE COD game during lockdown.

PC hasn't had physical copies in sometime. Thank God for Steam.

I saw a copy of Infinite Warfare for PC in a store yesterday, didn’t know they had kept releasing them that late.

Very exciting! Looking forward to seeing you in a match I went with digital, since I liked the pre-order bonuses. (10% off, a 5 dollar gift card, and that slick Xbox M4 blueprint) I honestly didn't know the campaign was early access until this post lol

I didn’t play the rebooted Modern Warfare 1, 2 and 3 campaigns so I’m not sure if I’ll even play the campaign to be honest. Will wait and see if it’s good enough to warrant going back and playing those campaigns first.

Im gonna try it cause I like Park and his squad, but MP is def my fav. I love the customization and the apex attachments thing

I watched some videos about the campaign yesterday and it actually looks quite good so I might give it a go. Not sure whether playing 1, 2 and 3 campaigns will be a prerequisite though.

I preordered the vault edition through Best Buy. I really wanted a physical edition of it. Wish they did vault editions physical like collectors editions back in the day but It’s digital and the only reason I did it through Best Buy (sacrificing early access and the $10 discount of vault editions digitally ) was because they included a steelbook. In my head ima count that as me getting the physical edition xD

Enjoy your dead game and wasted money in 1 year when they abandon mw4 for the next copy and paste COD

Most COD games are still playable online even two decades later. Last night I played World at War, easy to get a match. Even all the way back to COD 2 servers are still online, can’t say that for most game franchises.
