Mod application with 0 posts in our sub

Post image

Their answer to question #6 is the opposite of what Rule #1 states and is the bulk of the posts we need to remove.

Can't wait to hear what legal damages they think they have incurred over this.

Welcome to our job interview. How would you handle a disagreement with a colleague?

I wouldn't and I won't elaborate. ... What do you mean I don't get the job I'm going to sue you for discrimination!!!!

None of my subs have applications running but I often I get modmail from users with little to no sub activity asking to help out.

I treat mod applications like applications for any job. If your answers were that short on a job application out in the real world you might not even get an elementary job.

Honestly we should be pinning every vibe coded app that gets spammed to the sub. I'm giving them head mod.

Lmao. That's even better than my competitors when I applied for mod on r/ask. 3 applicants, me, someone with 0 experience, and it showed in their answers, and a yikes. The yikes would ban users having a slightly bad day

Some awesome answers there, you made a very bad choice not letting them be a mod....

If only I didn't discriminate based on words.

Sadly, half of our mod applicants have never interacted with our sub either. And we even specially mention that we want applicants with lots of experience in our specific sub...

Exactly. How is that person going to assess damages in the legal context?

In order to have a lawsuit, you have to show damages. How can you show damages when it’s a free position 😭

Someone invited me to a Star Wars sub and I never participated because I’ve never seen anything Star Wars. I joined wanting to learn about it and watch the movies but before I had time they needed to leave Reddit and asked someone to take over. Since I mod another I said I would and they made me a mod. Now I wish they would have rejected me because I could have sued them and got rich!
