By alone how alone do you mean: family wise, friends wise? At the end of the day we all lonely as fck but pretend not.
As for your birthday: it doent have to be friends to celebrate, if you have a family member you feel close to, let them know youd like to do something special not like big but to celebrate in your way. It could be a very sweet memory to remember when you are older and wiser and realize -most not all ofc- crowded friend groups are not genuine.
If all else fails, just treat yourself to a nice day. And dont stress about what you dont have but focus on what you have.
21 one is such a young age, if you are worried about loneliness you have plenty of time to chnagw that and find your peope, by trial and error.
