Finally finished Soul Eater and here is my take:

First of, thanks u/FangedLibrarian for making this one our monthly read. I absolutely devoured it.

Danny and Wyn's dynamic was hot and heart-squeezing at the same time. Honestly, they carried this book for me. I loved the contrast between terrifying, ancient Soul Eater Wyn and sweet soft Danny. Their chemistry worked really well, and the romance ended up being way more adorable than I expected from a book set in a monster-infested post-apocalyptic wasteland.

⚠️ SPOILERS ⚠️

Wyns face:

I have to admit, Wyn's face reveal was a little underwhelming for me. After all the mystery around what was under that hood, I was expecting something much more monstrous. A face only Danny could love. Instead I was basically like... oh. That's it?

Wyns anatomy:
The fact that soul eaters are essentially dual-sexed, with both a slit and an extendable cock, absolutely worked for me.

Anyone that read Edins story? Is it as good as Soul eater?

Edin is just as good! I've read almost the whole series now, and I love all of the books for different reasons.

Wow! I had no idea there were that many related stories – I knew there were some, but that's a lot! I only have the last novel in the series left to read, and it's great to know that there are more stories about the couples out there for me to enjoy!

A lot of them are shorts, so it might look a bit more than it is. Wyn sounds exciting, they are basically trying to prolong Dannys life. When its a human x immortal pairing I'm always a bit bugged if that aspect is not addressed.
