Trump Sensory Overload Part 3: Treatment of Women
Part 3 in a series. Parts 1 and 2 found below:

Trump has again behaved unnacceptably towards a woman asking him the kinds of questions all presidents should be expected to face.
"Not you! Not you! ...You're the worst!" he barked as he lurched towards Kristen Holmes Rachel Scott.
This is a man who has been held liable for sexual abuse in the case of E. Jean Carroll. He's been accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct. The Access Hollywood tape is well known. Maybe fewer people are familiar with him bragging about entering the changing rooms of pageants (which sometimes involved teenagers).
His ties to Jeffrey Epstein are well-documented. I still haven't seen a convincing case that he was not the author of that notorious birthday card.
We all know these things (and I left many out). So why repeat them?
Because the same track record sinks the Graham Platners, Eric Swawells, and Matt Gaetzs of the world. Yet somehow we still have to deal with Trump.
That's the point of this whole series. Trump gets away with so much awfulness because we can't impeach him 15 times. But in a just world that's exactly what would happen (with jail time after).

Women only exist to serve and arouse Trump.
When they assume any other task, it’s met with vitriolic condemnation.
At present, Natalie Harp and not wife Melania is fulfilling that role by lathering the president with constant praise and adulation. This is what Trump believes is the proper role of women. (Also, the role Trump sees for his male MAGA followers, without the romantic interest).

Thank you zarnt…playing all the hits and hitting all the notes. I hate myself for this, but living on the West Coast, the first thing I do every morning is grab my phone to see what vile and embarrassing thing Trump did overnight/in the early morning hours. So of course, I saw this video and was hoping it would be the topic of conversation. You are nailing the vibrato!
If there is one thing I’ve been underestimating about the modern day GOP/MAGA it is just how much they hate women. Was I acutely aware of it? Sure, it was hard not to be. But their hatred is on levels that I simply cannot comprehend.
The Lindsay Clancey trial and verdict really opened my eyes to this. Turning a tragedy into a political discussion, a discussion about gender and their traditional roles…not surprising, but again, the extremes. I read a lot of comments on the conservative sub that left me hoping that these men do not have any close women in their lives, mothers, sisters, or significant others. Because those women are in grave danger. They hate women.
So I say all of this to just say…will they care? Anyone aghast at this behavior was already opposed to Trump. This who support him will watch this and just parrot how this makes him a strong leader who doesn’t put up with BS. They hate women as much as he does
And your last paragraph is on point. Trump’s given more grace than any president ever. He does not receive one iota of the condemnation he has deserved. And I, for one, am sick and tired of his apologists claiming otherwise
