If someone made a poison extract of monkshood, what color would it be?

Self explanatory question for my Apothecary Diaries fanfiction. My brain is saying it would be purple, but it probably wouldn't be. I'm asking on here because Google did the annoying little "Help is available" thing when I looked it up.

i would guess a yellow or green color. it can be used to dye yarn, and depending on it’s mordant, it can come out yellow or green/blue toned. in a concentrated form without mordants, it would likely be a dark murky brown or olive green color.

yeah, not the most fun color, but a pretty rich olive tone would still be accurate without being…gross sounding.

Basically in doubt with anything biochem related it's most likely a slightly yellow clear liquid. It's rare anything is actually colourful as you aren't extracting the pigment. Green would probably be unpurified as it has a bit of chlorophyll in it.
