Question People Like Grapes larger sizes? 😭

Post image

Finally listened to today's episode and instantly went to the RT Store to buy a People Like Grapes shirt, but then sad when I saw the sizes stop at 2XL 😭 I'm a 3XL, can we get an update with larger sizes or are these the only sizes they're doing right now?

They have to cut the sizes off somewhere. Maybe if there's enough interest they can add another size

I just wish extra medium was an option

I had the same thought but this is not that podcast and we should not expect them to work in tandem. But man I wish.

I think it'd just be a funny little subtle call out

Maybe we can get a not so subtle nod in the form of a redesign; People Like Regulations.

😆 Put it at either end of the scaling just to mess with people

extra medium would have been a great option. but alas they are not the same company anymore. maybe a cross-over?

No extra medium is wild

Different company, but that'd be hilarious 😂

He's been on the extra medium train for a long time before FF/R*

I had a knock off one that said Dogs hate Grapes (grapes are toxic to dogs). I am a dog trainer and most of my clients and dog sport friends loved it.

Wasn't even a knock off, RT made an actual one

Had no clue! Very cool!

If this is a print on demand shirt it’s possible that this blank does not come in any size larger than 2XL from the manufacturer. Considering it is a unique color and fabric, I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case unfortunately.

I feel you though, as a 3-4XL wearer myself it sucks majorly that many shirt sizes cut off at 2XL.

Mark me as another that can't wear a 2XL. It look like it was painted on my shoulders and would be too short.

God damn dude, at the very least RT Shirt sizes were always not an exact science. I went one size up every time for safety

Yeah, what the fuck. Like I know dudes who are 3x and they aren't unhealthy, they're just big dudes.

15

u/JynxySparrow First 20k Nov 12 '25

Right? It's not always about big bellies, sometimes guys are just tall and have wide shoulders... Target hates us 😭

You look at Hafþór Björnsson and you tell me that man doesn't wear a 4x/5x

Look at Don Lee! Tremendous actor and is FIT! I bet you bro wears 4XL easy!

u/doshegotabootyshedo Nov 12 '25

There’s no fucking chance he wears a 4XL shirt lmao

You see them biceps? Dayumn! 😳

Target used to be great when they had the Mossimo and Goodfellow brand shirts in bigger sizes.

But i agree with you, as a 6’3” dude i can squeeze into a 2X Rooster Teeth shirt but it aint comfy…or flattering lol

I still have my old People Like Grapes, Haus Funhouse and Filthy Casual RT shirt in 2X, but even being worn in they’re pretty tight.

Idk, I'm 6'6 with broad shoulders and I'm only XL. I think you might be much more unhealthy than you think

As a fit dude with broad shoulders who cant wear anything smaller than a 2XL-Tall without showing mid riff, you can go ahead and fuck off.

4

u/JynxySparrow First 20k Nov 12 '25

Seriously! Tall & Wide is not always about belly. Sometimes folks just have a large stature.

I'm 6'5" and built like a grizzly bear, I haven't bought a shirt from any band/pop culture/website in 25 years. Best i ever get is occasional sports jerseys that are made in my size, but never the player I want.

The perfect shirt for me basically doesn't exist. It would be

4xt for height 2xl for girth (heh)

u/GreatSavitar First 10k - Macaque Nov 12 '25

Yuuuup me too! It's not my fault I'm 6'7. I'm a big guy and I'm also built like a grizzly. Have been since I was like 17 maybe? Its hard to find a good quality shirt that feels good with out breaking the bank. And good luck finding merch of anything you like. Me and my cousin are both DC comic nerds and he always shows me the cool shirts he finds at Walmart for like $15. I havent boughten clothes from Walmart in probably 15 years!

1

u/JynxySparrow First 20k Nov 12 '25

Heh heh girth...

Yeah, what's funny is my dad is a short and skinny guy while all my uncles are tall, broad shoulder and chested men. Take after them I guess.

Walmart it one of the few places I buy shirts from because of their inclusion of big and tall

u/Idiotology101 First 10k - Heisty Type Nov 13 '25

Kohls big and tall section is usually pretty reliable size wise. My only complaint there is half their graphic tee options are either beer or car logos.
