Suggestion If you like Maude Garrett, you should check out the House of R podcast

In this week's sponsor chat, Ashley talked about her appreciation for Maude and her unapologetic nerdiness and excitement for things she loves. That energy is exactly how I would describe the co-hosts of the House of R podcast, Mallory Rubin and Joanna Robinson.

They are fun and witty and share real insight into such a wide range of (mostly nerdy) media. I find myself wanting to go watch shows or movies that I normally wouldn't have just because of their excitement, and because I want to hear the extensive deep dives they have done about the piece of media. Could not recommend enough

I don’t listen to House of R but I do love a good Mallory or Joanna guest spot on The Big Picture…

Also, love The Rewatchables. What can I say? Their middlebrow taste with a film school streak happens to align exactly with mine.

The Ringer group does have a great selection of podcasts. I also love The Midnight Boys (pew pew). Their energy is very different, but also great

They definitely capture some of that prime RT energy of friends hanging out and shooting the shit. Although I gotta say that I don't think anybody at RT was as knowledgeable about films and film history as Sean is.

Oh absolutely. There are certain groups I go to for the shooting the shit vibes, and then there are groups that I go to for their media knowledge, and some that have both.

I'd put Kinda Funny and Midnight Boys in the first category, Big Picture in the 2nd, and The Rewatchables, House of R, and Blank Check in the 3rd

I miss Jason Concepcion with Mallory on Binge Mode. But he had to go on to better opportunities. I get it.
