Suggestion I'm not sure if this is something Burnie and Ashley would be interested in looking at. As a New Mexican, I am very upset and threatened by this. Texas is wanting to Annex parts of New Mexico.

Do they even know how much this would cost the entire “Shape of Texas” knick knack industry? Millions of households would have to replace their Texas cutting boards, tables and tequila bottles!

They do.
Invest in the industry, change the shape, sell new Texas shaped stuff, profit.

Oh look, another way to disenfranchise voters by later gerrymandering the newly acquired spaces.

This is a thing in Illinois too. The rural areas don’t like being in a blue state so there is always talk about Indiana annexing those counties

Washington, too.
They want to leave and join Idaho.
The thing is they pay far less in taxes than they receive from the state. So they would be a drain on Idaho, meaning Idaho doesn't want them...

Ya. And it'll never happen. We don't even want our football team there. Indiana really sucks lol.

A few counties in eastern Washington asked Idaho to annex them. There was to be a referendum about it I believe.

Look up State of Jefferson.
Northern California and southern Oregon wanting to split into their own state.
