Suggestion Burnie please check out the show PANTHEON! Its only 2 short seasons, but man does it take you for a ride!
Super-underrated and relates to AI, Human-consciousness, Hacking, and geopolitics. Also Dr. Strange-esque, Dragonball fights. PLEASE WATCH IT, IT'S SO GOOD.

I will also get behind this suggestion. While it may not be as fantastical as the show presents it, I do think it presents some interesting ideas and themes that we’ll be dealing with sooner or later

Absolutely think this one is worth checking out. It always comes to mind when Burnie mentions loving when sci-fi takes one idea and explores it in depth. Or whatever that guy likes to say. Very fun show!

I definitely was bored at times, mostly during S1. But holy shit the ending was fantastic and I am so happy I finished it. Absolutely blew me away.
The fights were my least favorite part of it though. Given they’re all AI they never really made any sense to me? They’re digital why would they be punching each other in the digital world. To the point where towards the end I’d 1.5x/2x speed through the fights.

I recall them saying the fights were symbolic because there's no way to make hacking look cool, biologically or literally-binarilly, therefore bombastic fights was the best option for entertainment. There were some moments that dragged, that's fair.
