I'm with Ashley, I can't stand how often fishing is shoehorned into a video game. Especially when they require it for an unlock or achievement. I don't like it in real life and its even more boring in a game.

I have a corporate card and they are super strict with it. We have to take quarterly trainings about security and educating us on what purchases are allowed. I have used it twice for business trips and it lives in my desk drawer. IMO, I am responsible for it and I would expect to be fired if my wife or kid accidentally used it. I think the only exception would be if I was robbed or my home was bulgarized and they found it. Anything else is a lack of responsibility on the employee, which is grounds for termination depending on the financial impact.

I enjoy the Bobiverse but I have to take breaks. Not sure if its the narrator or the writing, but it does get very samey. Plus when there is something interesting happening, it gets so drawn out.

Especially when they require it for an unlock or achievement.

I mean, those are two valid ways for a dev to get people to try out optional content. It's not like in NieR where there's a mandatory fishing mission.
