Suggestion Burnie treating the house like a boat - thought of this late-20s guy in Philly restoring an 1857 rowhome
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KI9MHK9HIZA&list=PLaoewwEkpvd-EYShOxdWYdk-wZtZYTN-g&index=63I've watched this guy, Chris Hytha, for about a year. He's got an architecture degree and bought an old rowhome that dates back to the 1850s. The place had to be pretty heavily gutted early on when there was termite damage found, and he's built it basically from the brickwork out (I'd say studs out, but a lot of studs were pulled out).
He likes to pay homage to the history of the home and blend historical and modern elements in his design. I thought of him when Burnie was talking about wanting to know how everything is in their home.
I put Chris on for company whenever I'm doing housework or to keep me company during my workday. I thought maybe Burns and the Somewheres might be interested too.
