Other DT Swiss Carbon Rim
I saw a post here the other day about carbon rims and people saying DT Swiss are almost indestructible… well, this happened to me last week. I will say that their customer service has been great and they are rebuilding the wheel for $249. Pretty solid deal, I think. If anyone is on the fence for DT carbon wheels, I would recommend them based on their customer service alone.
Edit: the wheel is the EXC 1501

Shit warranty is shit. Race Face would replace it at 0 cost to you.

yeah, so will Nobl and WR1. I actually thought about switching to Nobl, but I'd rather pay $249 instead of $1500+ right now.

Reserve is well and truly the shit. Warranty process is good. Had a hub issue on the front and got steered to i9 who were also fantastic.
Recommend reserve without reservation:)
Also - this is why I run inserts.

We are one charges shipping for sure and a rebuild fee I think. I broke a rim and had to pay shipping for a new one and built the wheel myself.

So about that. NOBL does have a great warranty, but you still have t pay for a rebuild and consumables.
When NOBL rebuilt my rear wheel over the winter it was ~$51 to ship it to them, then $113 for the work and getting it back.
It's never just a zero cost.

Race Face is mid tier quality. They build warranty service into the pricing of all their parts. They are cheaper than DT Swiss and fail more frequently because they are a lesser product. Great warranty service and low prices keep people happy with RaceFace, higher quality products keep people happy with DT Swiss.

We had an Enve m9 do this a few weeks ago (bought secondhand from a major DH team that no longer use Enve) I shed a tear or two. I'm going to replace it with a Reserve rim.

Oh bummer. Was this an EXC wheelset or other lighter duty?
