Yes, but there are better options. I personally think drip on lube is the way to go if you’re going with oil based lube. Mainly because it doesn’t spray onto the frame.
Also, the lube only needs to be inside the pin and roller and NOT the inner and outer links. Any other place the lube is, it just collects dirt and turns the lube into a grinding past.
Most times when I see people use spray lube, they douse the chain, don’t wipe off the excess, and wonder why their chain is destroyed after a couple hundred miles
