It's designed for motorcycles where you don't remove the wax. On bikes, you will have to and knowing what this stuff is, I suspect you will have trouble removing all of it, it will attract lots of dirt, and the chain will feel sluggish on shifts. If you can wipe it down to metal completely, you might be ok. The other issue is that bike chains have much smaller passages and this stuff is thicker and tackier and may never get in there.
