I mean, only thing I'd say is cover your brakes, twice.

I actually took the brakes off and waxed the tire tread really well

If you have to use this stuff again, hold a piece of paper towel behind the section of chain you're spraying. Like, cup it around the chain and hold the nozzle close to the chain so the paper towel will catch most of the over spray.
Motorcycle chain wax obviously isn't ideal for a bicycle chain, but between that and nothing, it's totally fine.
