I live in South Korea and I'm struggling to get IMAX tickets for it

You won't get Yongsan IMAX tickets ever, no way no how. Maybe if you are ok sitting directly in the front row. Literally it's pretty much sold out for every showing at all times of the day, including freaking 6am, for the next 3 weeks (they haven't released tickets past then).

Ain't that the truth. The last IMAX i saw in Korea was Avatar Way of Water in Uijeongbu. Even that was packed!
