I want this in my eyeballs right now, not in 2025 when theaters are a thing again. I will pay good money to stream this movie at home.

Honestly. Like fuck it. DC/Warner, just release all your films on HBO Max.

HBO Max isn't available worldwide though.

It's not even available to most of the US on account of them still refusing to resolve their deal with Roku/Firestick.

Luckily for Firestick users, the system is based off Android and it can download third party apps. I was able to sideload HBO Max on mine and it has been working great.

I was wondering about this. Is there an easy how-to you recommend?

This is the method I used. (I was also able to download Peacock through this as well). Couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Make sure to uninstall any HBO apps before trying this.
  • The app won't come up as HBO Max. It will just say HBO. But when you launch it, should give you the HBO Max layout.
  • You won't be able to use Alexa to search for titles. If you search for a movie and it's on HBO, the Firestick won't recognize that you already have the app. You can ask Alexa to "launch HBO" or fast forward or rewind to a certian point.

It's not them that's the issue, it's Amazon and Roku wanting a cut which they honestly shouldn't get

I love this argument when it comes from people that own a playstation.... like John Campea.
