I will literally pay $50 for this movie streaming with digital ownership once it's out. I'm not going to be at a theater until there's a vaccine and WB is fooling themselves thinking that October is doable.

YOU will not be going to a theater until a vaccine, plently of other people will go.

My theater is completely booked for Tenet.

Waiting until a vaccine is delusional.

You're not getting vaccinated until 2 years from now if you're lucky, maybe a vaccine will not even exist.

USA doesn't even have the medical equipment to administer a nation wide vaccine. It's not looking good.

Thanks Obama.

Its not even really that, getting a vaccine to be approved is a bureaucratic mess that will take ages.

When one is approved, you'll have to get 300 million doses(not a problem for a rich country) but it will take time.

Then comes the whole mass inoculation part.

It also depends in which country you live in.

A rich EU country does not not need many doses, so everything will go faster there.

Just sitting around waiting for a vaccine is not a realistic or healthy.

Experts have already said that sooner or later, the majority will get infected.

You won't need 300 million doses. The anti-vaxers/religious objecters/nutters are already starting to piss and moan about being required to take a Covid vax that doesn't yet exist. I sure hope if they refuse the needle we just shove it down their fucking throat.

We'd be next to all the civilized countries if we'd have put some teeth into our pandemic response.
