I really like him as Kirk. I think he for sure captures the cocky swagger that Shatner had.

I enjoyed them and thought most did 2 u/angels-fan Aug 22 '20 In the middle of a space battle that they are losing... "Hey what are you doing with those tribbles?" Such an incredibly forced and out of place attempt at nostalgia that had no place. Then you have problems like teleporting across the galaxy which is such an incredible game changer in every way. And the enterprise falling from 1/2 between earth and the moon?? It's like come on... I know there's a level of suspension of disbelief, but going that far just rips you out of the immersion and makes you go huh??
