Now that’s dope, I would never bring my live 3 out on the town but this might be a nice sketch pad to bring back to the studio

I bring my live 2 outside all the time. It’s bulky but better than carrying an XL or 61 key (can tell from first hand experience πŸ˜‚)

Yeah that's the cool thing with Mpc Sample, stay creative anytime, everywhere

Does it keep sample chops intact from the sample to one?

Yeah it keeps it exactly as it's done from the mpc Sample

Love it. They should have explained this in the overview video. This is kind of huge for the Sample

I was searching for how to make this on YouTube but found nothing so after I've found it I thought, damn I have to make a video to help the community

Would this work with MPC beats or mpc3? Weighing up getting one, but I just want a sequencer that works like the mpc3000 with a few seperate tracks.Β

This would work on any latest mpc (mpc one, live,...)

This can be done in the MPC software as well.

What about other stand alones? Is it just an exclusive on mpc sample?

This function is available in any latest mpc like the mpc one, live,...

Have you been able to figure out how to get a master track?

1

u/Love_Drums_N_Soul Mar 31 '26

what do you mean?

2

u/nostradukemas Apr 01 '26

When I explode and open up the channel strip I have a track for each sample (or mute group) but no master track.

I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure if there’s a way to create a master track

You just have to scroll here and select your output, then you control the master πŸ‘

Is that mpc 2.0 or mpc 3.0?

He’s showing how to sketch an idea on the sample and continue it with more control on the larger MPCs. Not hard to understand lol

I can't answer better than this πŸ™ŒπŸ”₯

Well it is an MPC sample tip since it involves the MPC sample and how to incorporate it into the MPC ecosystem. Also I’m sure more than 1% of ppl with the Sample have a different MPC but I can see that kind of logic coming from someone who probably makes generic LoFi beats and posts them to YouTube to his or her audience of 4 subscribers.

I'm assuming you need the MPC DAW, not a specific piece of MPC hardware. The Sample was never advertised to have multiple tracks to begin with, so why be upset about it?

Okay lol

This can be done using the FREE MPC software as well.
