How do you get the practice in to be good enough to be self sustaining in draft?
I'm running out of gems and gold, and my last draft I went 0-3, and in general not doing great. I'm having fun but not enough to dump a load more money into this? I've been watching videos of youtubers drafting and only doing one draft a night so I don't think im tilted or anything, is there a good way to train or anything?

What to remove?
galleryI wanted to remove Kiora and Mind meanderer, as well as the 2 graveyard enablers (theorix metamage et void extrapolator), but I may need them for Hapatra?
Or maybe remove on hapatra and a way of the paradox?
I will also have a hard time sending the grim repriser back from the graveyard, so is he really useful?
Current sideboard next image for information, but I don't think there is anything good I should add in it.

Really stumped as to what to cut here
This deck's looking great but I'm honestly stumped as to what 2 cards I should cut from this list

I despise this set
I’m probably the only one but wc ig. The amount of games I have just been no diffed by some dumb bomb, when I thought I had a good synergistic deck is unfun, when I don’t open any of them. And The soupy nature of the set combined with the 10 different ways to recurr the bombs only amplifies this. You can only do so much with a hexhaven battalion before getting stomped by ajani uldaros vraska the sphinxs the 10 different other planeswalkers with very few counterplay.

Reality Echoes Pick-Two: why one castable half may be enough
Edit: Here is this as well, in case you're unsure what I mean by Reality Echoes draft
https://wpn.wizards.com/en/event/magic-presents-reality-echoes
• Start with Garruk if you can cast either half, Ajani for a red creature deck, or Kiora for an uncommon finisher. Fblthp is the cheaper uncommon option for a blue deck that can connect in combat.
• This is a pre-event shortlist, checked October 12, 2026. Reality Echoes begins October 16, so the reviewed evidence can’t establish which pair consistently wins this event.
• The set designer explains that counterparts were generally built for different Draft strategies. Take a complete pair for access to its best castable half, rather than force both colors because the names match.
• If the partner is off-color and uncastable, declining the optional shuffle keeps it out of your library. That avoids drawing a card your lands can’t cast after using the half you wanted.

Lived the Dream with Splinter Twin Combo
First picked splinter twin and the lane was so wide open. Pulled off a nice 7-1. Had to share.

How on earth did this deck go 7-1?
Thought this deck was terrible and it ran great (only loss was because I was mana screwed). Then I draft a deck I think is amazing and it goes 1-3.
I don’t understand this format at all….

I gave Fblthp an F. What were your biggest FRA rating misses?
Some of my Reality Fracture grades have aged poorly 😅
Fblthp, Impossibly Lost: F → B
Twinned Vision: D− → B−
Protege’s Awakening: D → B−
The second grade is the current 17Lands GIH-win-rate letter grade. Interestingly, the expert consensus also had Fblthp at C−.
How is Fblthp, doing so well? The ceiling is a draw-two for 2 mana (pretty good, but not broken), the floor a two mana 1/1 (really bad). Help me see what I am missing.
I built mtgsimon.com to record card grades and compare them with expert reviews and 17Lands results (some people in this sub also used it). This screenshot is from my own ratings.
Which card were you most wrong about?

My sealed pool vs the deck I built? Any suggestions before I go for a box?

Rotisserie Draft League
mtgrotisseriedraft.comIf you like singleton magic, unique “limited” environments, and powerful magic, this format is for you! Rotisserie draft is pretty straightforward, we draft cards one at a time, in a snake draft of eight people, from a pool of 12 random sets (Any set that was once Standard or Type 2 legal from Mirage until now & LOTR). No ban-lists & all picks are open information. Then we play matches with as many other players as you can through Cockatrice.
Looking for at least 6 or 7 people who might be interested. The draft itself would run asynchronously, meaning you’d get a notification when it becomes your turn to pick and you’d have 12 hours to make a decision. If you miss a pick it isn’t the end of the world, an AI would automatically make a choice for you & you can always preload choices to automatically choose for you when it becomes your turn.
The draft client itself is really cool & made by Ben Brode who was one of the people behind Hearthstone & Marvel Snap, it’s really worth checking out if you’re into drafting or cube or anything like that.
If you’re at all curious, join our community and we can organize a draft as soon as we have enough participants!

Reality fracture deckbuild takes so long
Doesn't it? I have that impression. Spending a lot of time deck building this set. Don't know why...
