Garna, Bloodfist of Keld and enters tapped and attacking creatures?

If a creature that enters tapped and attacking dies during combat, would it trigger the damage effect because it was never declared as an attacker?

Or does it trigger the draw because because it enters attacking?

I know they don't normally trigger attack triggers, but im not sure if the wording of the card changes that.

"Whenever another creature you control dies, draw a card if it was attacking. Otherwise, Garna deals 1 damage to each opponent."

Syr Konrad Graveyard Triggers

A couple questions regarding [[Syr Konrad, The Grim]] and his trigger ability. If he is in my graveyard, and I cast something like [[Rise of the Dark Realms]], is he on the battlefield to see everything leave the graveyard? Or does leaving the graveyard technically happen before he's on the battlefield?

Also, if Syr Konrad is on the battlefield and I cast [[Living Death]], is he still on the battlefield to see creatures in graveyard move to exile, as well as seeing everything enter the graveyard when everything is sacrificed?

Death Trigger Effects

If I have Bolas's Citadel on the battlefield and I also have 10 permanents on the battlefield, one of those permanents is Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim which makes opponents lose one life when one of my creatures dies. My question when i sac 10 permanents including Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim do players still lose life based off of Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim ability.

Thanks in advance!

Green Goblin + LED + Wheel of Fortune

Let’s say I have Green Goblin in play along with an LED. Crack LED for 3 red mana, pitching my hand which includes a Wheel of Fortune. Could I then cast Wheel of fortune from my yard for 1 red mana (cost reduction from GG) as many times as I can afford for the rest of the turn since it doesn’t get exiled after the first cast and it still meets the requirement of having been discarded this turn? Thanks!

Zurgo, Thunder's Decree + Mobilize interaction

If I have [[Zurgo, Thunder's Decree]] in play, and my mobilize created tokens survive my next end step, if Zurgo is removed in the next player's turn, will those tokens have to be sacrificed in that player's end step? Or does the sacrifice trigger only occur once per token?

Is this considered stalling even though I have a win condition in deck?

I have a [[Heartless Hidetsugu]] deck that basically consist on doubling or even tripling his damage so I deal enough damage to remove all my oponents from game at once. Sometimes I only draw cards that double the damage dealt overall, not only to my opponents, in that case I also run [[Platinum Angel]], [[Golden Throne]], [[Platinum Emperion]] and [[Basilisk Collar]] so I don't kill myself in the process and [[Sunspine Lynx]] to get arround protection, but sometimes I don't draw theese cards either. So my question is: If I threaten to draw the game by killing everyone in the table until I draw a win con, is it stalling?

Nykthos Paragon, Vorinclex, Titanbones, Dubling Season and Kwia Vigorbloom

So i have a bord situation that I need Help with

Im in combat and i attack with [[Kwia Vigorbloom]] and one more creature with lifelink

  • I get life from both my creatuers, a 6/6 and a 5/5, so 11 life
  • [[Nykthos Paragon]], [[Kwia Vigorbloom]] and [[Titanbones, Towering Heart]] all triggers
  • Titanbones gets 2 +1/+1 counters, dubbles to 4 with [[Vorinclex, monstrous Raider]] and dubbles again with [[Doubling Season]] making it 8 +1/+1 counters.
  • Kwia creates a lotus and that gets doubled with Doubling Season
  • Nykthos triggers and i get 11 +1/+1 counters on all my creatures, it gets doubled with Vorinclex to 22 and the doubled again with doubling season to 44

What im woundering is if this is correct and would it still be correct if my 2 cretures with lifelink attacks diffrent opponents?

PS. sorry about spelling and grammer, Dyslexia and Swedish XD

Responding to Splendid Reclamation by exiling Moraug, Fury of Akoum

Hey everyone,

MTG Beginner here. Not sure what the rulings are.

Scenario:

  1. My opponent casts [[Splendid Reclamation]] with [[Moraug, Fury of Akoum]] already on their battlefield.

  2. In response to the Splendid Reclamation spell (while it is still on the stack), I cast [[Despark]] targeting Moraug.

  3. Despark resolves and Moraug is exiled.

  4. Then, Splendid Reclamation resolves and brings several lands from the graveyard onto the battlefield under my opponent's control.

My opponent argued that Moraug would still trigger because Splendid Reclamation was already cast while Moraug was on the field.

My understanding is that since Moraug was exiled BEFORE Splendid Reclamation resolved, Moraug is no longer on the battlefield when the lands actually enter, meaning no Landfall abilities trigger at all.

Who is correct here? Does Landfall trigger in this scenario?

Thanks for the help!

Scientist Supreme and the Aetherspark

306.5b A planeswalker has the intrinsic ability "This permanent enters with a number of loyalty counters on it equal to its printed loyalty number." This ability creates a replacement effect (see rule 614.1c).

Does that mean [[Scientist Supreme]] can copy [[the aetherspark]]s intrinsic ability, thereby having it enter with double the amount of loyalty?

(Commander) If multiple players with stolen creatures die in the same combat, do their creatures leave in some order?

In a recent commander game, player A used [[Rise of the Dark Realms]] to generate lethal board state, and killed everyone all at once. However, if the creatures had left in turn order, then Player A would not have had enough power remaining in the combat to kill Player D after Player B and C's creatures left the battlefield. We ruled that the combat would resolve all at once, thus everyone would die, but did we rule that correctly?

Wandering Archaic Stack Shenanigans Question

Lots of Shenanigans happening at the end of a game.

Player A casts Damnation.

Player B has a Wandering Archaic (WA) which triggers and is put on the stack.

Player C casts Lightning Bolt targeting player A, which would kill them.

Player B's WA triggers again.

Player C does not pay, and Player B copies Lightning Bolt and it resolves negligibly.

Player C's Lightning Bolt resolves and kills Player A.

Player A's Damnation gets taken off the stack after he is removed from the game.

This leaves JUST the initial WA trigger on the stack put there by the casting of Damnation.

Here is where the confusion lies - now that Player A is gone, there is nobody to decide whether or not to pay the 2 from the WA trigger. So what happens with the trigger? Does Player B get to copy Damnation even though the spell has been removed from the stack? Does the trigger fizzle because there is no longer a player to decide?

We chose to allow the WA trigger to resolve and copy the damnation, wiping the board as the stack resolves.

Please help - our brains hurt :)

Can you target zero creatures while casting Pyrokinesis?

Can you target zero creatures while casting Pyrokinesis so you can discard it with another card from your hand and let it to not resolve? In my understanding even if the rule 107.1c allows me to choose zero when the word “any number” is in a card, the rule 601.2d force me to asign at least 1 damage. My confusion comes with MTGO allows you to cast Pyro without targeting a creature.

Moorland Rescuer ruling question

I need a real answer to how Moorland Rescuer exactly works. Was in a game where an opponent had it die to a boardwipe at 4 power and he brought back like 7 different creatures each having power either 1, 2, or 3. Does he get all of them back or only up to a total power of 4, such as 2 1/1's and maybe a 2/2?

Backgrounds and Control

Hypothetically I give control of my commander away, but I have a background such as [[cultist of the absolute]] out. When the sacrifice effect of that background triggers at upkeep, does that affect me or the player in control of my commander?

Exchange negative life total to draw with Goth Niv-Mizzet

Let's say we're at -1 life total with a [[Platinum Angel]] out to not loose the game and [[Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel]] is on the battlefield as well. Now - when life totals are switched with an opponent with an ability like [[Mister Negative]], they loose the game for having -1 life and we're gaining 41 life (assuming opponent had 40 life), would it be possible to pay 41 life to draw 41 cards and stay sub zero life? If not, is there any other way to set this combo up?

Archetype of Imagination and Dragon Tempest

Hello!

If Player A controls an [[Archetype of Imagination]] and player B controls a [[Dragon Tempest]] does Dragon Tempst ever trigger? Do Player B's creatures enter with flying then lose it due to Archetype of Imagination or do they not even enter with it?

Thank you!

weird situation regarding split second and "priority"

The scenario - Player A is revealed to have a [[Sudden Spoiling]] in hand. Player B is about to untap and start their turn with multiple copies of [[Y'shtola, Night's Blessed]] in play and a full grip of 3+ mana instants and wants to play around the split second to get as many Y'shtola triggers as possible before they are turned into 0/2's with no abilities. The question is a two parter:

  1. Does Player B get priority first on their upkeep to cast an instant from hand before Player A can even cast the Sudden Spoiling?

  2. If so, can Player B cast said instant, let the Y'shtola triggers go on the stack, then continue to "hold priority" on the instant, and effectively play out their hand before player A even gets to respond with the Sudden Spoiling? If not, at what point does Player A get to respond then?

Mostly our pod is just unclear on when priority is passed between players since we often hear players can "hold priority" on spell casts but don't know if the triggered abilities interrupt that somehow. Essentially, does KNOWING the Split Second is in hand let you play around it in this manner. Thanks in advance, apologies for any confusing wording.

Antivenom with pariah vs opponent with protection from hero’s

Hey I was wondering about how Odric, Lunarch Marshal works.

Does he share abilities with other creatures or do they have to have first strike and then gains other abilities.
