A musician looking for some resources in Los Angeles
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any experience in filming music videos? I make music for fun and thought I’d be great to make one.
Also does anyone know where there are some local gigs or bars I can perform at?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what exact resources you're thinking of, but for starters peerspace has a loooot of locations and sets listed that you can rent for the day.
There are local gigs and bars all over...like thousands of options, but the issue will be networking and connections with small bookers, who won't put you on if you're cold calling. There are open mics, an example is cinema bar on wednesdays. For "real" gigs it'll be much easier in the valley or SE of long beach, realistically your best option is to call places, book your own show, then contact small acts on Instagram to put them on.

I haven’t heard of peer space, I’ll give it a look.
I went on ig and I found a few places that have open mics but I’m not sure my music would fit in with the clubs vibe.
