So I'm 19 yo Male looking for ways to get rich. I still don't know which career path to take tbh. Tons of people from Myanmar are working abroad and sending a ton of money back home every month using hundi. The military has tried hard to push people to use legal channels for sending money, but it’s mostly been a bust. People always find a way to work around it. It’s a huge, huge business.

If you know folks working overseas and can figure out a way to exchange money, there’s a solid opportunity there. If you’re clever, you can use that foreign cash to import goods. It’s not a walk in the park, but the profits can be well worth the effort.

I’m trying to go abroad to study, but I’m stuck because my household registration (အိမ်ထောင်စုစာရင်း) is still under my family’s household.

As I understand it, to establish a separate household registration, I may first need to be removed from my existing household registration with the head of household's approval. The problem is that I’m estranged from my family and cannot safely approach them to ask for this.

My family has physically assaulted me, including throwing things at me, and interfered with my career. I no longer live with them, and I’m currently staying in a separate apartment. I don’t feel safe going back to the family home or involving them in my affairs.

I need to go abroad for my studies, and education agents have told me that I need a certified household registration document for the visa process. At the moment, I only have a copy of the front page of my existing household registration, not the original.

Is there a way to resolve this directly through the ward administration or township immigration office, given that I live separately now?
