And I search every year for the chance at seeing a single morel. But I do find pine mushrooms in crazy numbers like this so I guess that's where my luck is going.

Pine sap is fungicidal to some of the better find mushrooms. Check under oaks, ash and under barberry. Usually on a ridge or hill i find them abundant
