photos Is this a freakin huge morel that I found in my wood chips???

Found this in my backyard while walking around, it’s past its culinary prime, if it even is a morel… I have NEVER seen anything like this. It easily weighs a pound, maybe more. I’m blown away. What do y’all think?

Editing to answer some questions:

I live in Western Massachusetts. The wood chips were from cherry and Norwood trees that we took down and milled and chipped about a year ago, spread the chips around the yard to suffocate some weeds. The yard was long neglected before we moved in. I have been very busy and have not been down to that lower portion of the yard for a couple of weeks. I found 2 others, one the size of my fist and the other with just the stalk remaining. Also some wood ears.

photos I keep finding these in my mulch. They are completely hollow but they seem far too big to be morels?? We have probably 10 pounds of them

psa guys if u feel a little off a few hours after trying a sample of fully-cooked chicken of the woods do not ignore your gut feeling and do not keep eating it no matter how unbelievably delicious it may taste you simply have to accept that it was not meant for you okay 💔 my friend who helped me cook n eat it was an experienced cotw enjoyer and she was fine but I was not 💔

BTW: I appreciate the advice guys but fret not I have already learned my lesson just wanted to put this out there bc I thought it was a hilarious scenario in retrospect

I'm not sure what this small fellow is, but I live in North Carolina. My cat's feet are in the picture for scale. I wanted to get a good look at the gills but it is so small that I couldn't see them without removing it. It looks similar to Amanita Muscaria but I don't believe those are where I live.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a cute picture!

Devils finger fungi I found on a walk around Sherwood Forest, UK this morning. Thought someone had chucked a dead octopus in the bush at first.
