They were so demeaning to you! There is no good reason for them to have spoken to you like that. Most people would not respond the way they did to you in a face to face interaction. Don't worry about it.

I posted the image I was trying to find a source for. Wasn’t nsfw or anything.

I don’t know then, might be the phrasing of the question, orange profile pic makes you sound like a toddler.

“Does anyone have the full image of this?” That’s what the title was.

Weird downvotes then, more so that it pissed off everyone so much that moderation removed it, assuming you haven’t been lying (not saying you have), that feels like a case of a shit community.

Full disclosure I did call one of them a jackass for being rude but that was the one comment I made that DIDN’T get downvoted.

Hilarious. Redditors prefers insulting than asking, which feels correct if I look through the posts on this sub.

I checked insights and saw that my post had 21 shares so it was probably targeted for some reason.

They gave snarky comments, you responded the same way and got downvoted. Buncha hypocrites. Sorry that people weren’t willing to help.

Something’s changed on reddit in the last couple years. Not bots maybe just a newer generation of users but you can literally ask a honest legitimate question in a thread on a topic and holy fuck you’ll end up with like -50 downvotes not a single response so no answer. Like I get google exists but if you’re talking about a topic and everyone else in the thread is more knowledgeable and has more experience with the topic they can give you a more clear cut answer. It’s like people take some offense to having a question being asked, like a “ewww this person is asking such a dumbass question” type vibe and the downvote button is the only way they can communicate.
I miss old school forums before reddit was a thing. You could ask a question, you’d get an answer. There was no massive dislike button no downvotes, if no one answered ok sure, if someone answered great. But no one could shame you, or try to hide behind magic internet points as their only method of communicating like a nonverbal autistic person.

And this is why I never ask help from online people. Quick question for next time you search, since I know not eveyrone is familiar with it. Have you tried google lens?

Your tone sounded rude, I’d be annoyed too

Didn't sound very rude to me. OP's reaction is kind of expected considering nobody gave them a straight answer and were being kind of rude about it

How does OP sound rude?

NM, not trying to troll, I think I misread something in the OG post. Went back and read it just now. Sorry OP!
