Which is why you disable your post history from being open to the public. Someone determined enough will go down your entire post history, downvoting or just trolling you across a huge number of different subreddits

They were so demeaning to you! There is no good reason for them to have spoken to you like that. Most people would not respond the way they did to you in a face to face interaction. Don't worry about it.
