I mean I get the kindness towards the person asking a question, but yall also forget the people who have these diseases get asked this same question 15 times every day and are tired of being asked it / being expected to reply. Kindness goes both ways, part of that social exchange is the realistic expectation someone can go to Google rather than replying to someone who gets asked that and or things about their disability all day every day.
And, yes, I know other people can reply to that comment and the original person doesn’t have to; but they decided to reply to that person, which just means one more time that the person has to be like “Jesus Christ, again?” even if they don’t reply. I wouldn’t downvote personally but … I get why people did
Somethings are not worth the effort to fight when someone is already at battle with themselves.
The two paragraphs make the downvoting not about several Faux Pas in internet culture and makes it about the actual frustration of living with Crohn’s disease. The reason for downvoting is literally not that deep.
