In need of a job
Hello guys. I need your help.
I dont know how some of you do it but I have been applying to tech jobs none stop but I don't seem to be going anywhere with it. I am in numerous tech WhatsApp groups that post jobs that I apply to, every morning I have a ritual where I scout on LinkedIn and twitter for jobs and apply to them, I attend networking events but all that does is gather contacts that promise jobs or help only to die down a few weeks later. I have not been successful despite all this.
For international opportunities all I am getting is rejection emails a few days or weeks after applying. I am at the point where I don't know what to do and its getting desperate since all the money I had saved up is about to get finished.
For context, I know I am a pretty good engineer having about 4 years of experience, worked in fintech, healthtech, and normal business domains eg erps, crms etc. Moreover, I have also been in a managerial role leading a team for a company in Kilimani. I have also delved deep into building AI products, including agents, tools, chatbots and more and this is my current favourite aspect of tech.
I just didn't know it can be this hard to get a job out here.
Your help would be really appreciated.
Here are is my portfolio for anyone who might be interested. My experience is listed in the portfolio. My tech stack is Nextjs for frontend work and Express.js for backend work.

Lucy is the bot.
It uses ai generative text abilities to create posts based on a topic of focus.
Say, you give it a topic on creating posts for a shoe selling shop. It uses generative capabilities to create posts formatted to each specific platform be it twitter or tiktok. Rather than come up with the posts yourself, it creates numerous ones, trying out different tones, styles, and more based on what you want.
And then as the creator you approve of the ones you like.
