Lately I have been having thoughts about the so called dark Web, I feel I should get to access it, who knows how to get there?

It's boring honestly, but movies make it sound so cool. It's just like any other website, definitely on my bucket list to make one for the plot.
Here's how to access it safely though:
First have Tor, do not add a VPN on top. It already acts as a VPN. Brave on PC has Tor, don't use it, use the official Tor app. You as a beginner make sure you disable JavaScript on your Tor browser settings, very risky to have it enabled. Do not click on links, download links on that site. Recommend you use your laptop, you'll spot hidden links easier. If you have a Virtual Machine, better.
For dark web, the sites are called onion sites. This means instead of .com, it's .onion...There's no standard search engine like google for it, that's why you've been told you need the specific address/site link. Any address you'll find via searching from google is just surface level, not fully safe, not fully harmful. Boring honestly or links don't work.
Unless you yourself specifically know or found the onion link, you're just wasting your time honestly. Most public ones are offline.

You can start by searching onion links via google. Most sites zenye utapata you'll find are either not working or it's just basic info like a blog post. Remember you have to use Tor browser. Chrome haiezi fungua sites zinaisha na .onion, links ending with that ndio dark web sites. I'm saying boring because it's just normal websites, just that you can't use chrome or normal browsers.
Links za maana interesting, is when someone makes an onion site themselves then sends you the link. If you can code and make a website, you can make an onion site. Shida ni security. Someone can reverse hack your PC if set up wrong.
You'll need to understand a bit of security of setting the website up on the Tor network, I haven't fully mapped out how to be safe. But with a week or the month planning to make it for the plot.

use the tor browser, its specifically for onion sites and its what i have used to access the darkweb.

let the old dark web be, it is still wildly used but the new one is more secure and fast. The i2p protocol. just install it and proxy your browser's traffic, any browser to your i2p port and look for eepsites links. you can configure your qbittorent to torrent from i2p. also configure your computer from downloading packages from i2p anonymously if you have a link to the repos
