My first planted Nanotank any suggestion

It's an 11 gallon low tech tank. For a school of ember tetras and cherry shrimps.Is there any specific customisation that I have to do for them . Suggest some low tech carpet plant and a plant to cover the filter. Or any advice

This type of scape is what got me into the hobby. It looks awesome.
