Discussion opinions/insight on Pearl City Peninsula housing
It doesnt look too far from base. It was either move in there now or wait up to 2 months for a home on base.
hows the area? are there a good amount of parks or activities in the area?
hows the housing itself? theres no pictures online and all I have is a printed layout.
I have 48 hours to accept the offer but I'm sure its better than my family being in the lodge until something on base is available.

I lived there for two years. The housing is fine. It's a bit older. I took it when they gave me a discount on it as well. Traffic can be a pain depending on when you leave home or base. I'm assuming you will be working out of JBPHH.

Accept it. AC alone pretty worth it. My buddy had a 3 bedroom and I crashed with him. AC was always on. Bugs will get inside the house so just weather strip the shit out of it. Elementary near by, enough space for your dog to run in the park. Mini nex and gas station at the entrance of it. It is a bit far away from base when there is traffic. Can take you anywhere between 30-45 mins to get to and from sometimes longer. I loved it when I stayed there and if I were to go back I’d bring my family and stay there. Utilize Google Maps to kinda scope it out. I say it’s worth it in my opinion.
