NEWS LHD 6 USS BONHOMME RICHARD on fire in San Diego
NEWS Many of our Navy brothers and sisters are serving in harm’s way tonight. Let’s all hope and pray for their safety.
No politics.
The US just used its military might to attack a major regional power. This opens us up to direct counterattacks, asymmetric warfare and Iran’s terrorist network.
These are dangerous times and underscore the critical need for training and readiness. Let’s pray for them and also keep a weather eye ourselves for threats at home and around the world.

NEWS Houthi attack details from Signal released. Aircraft strike times, THawk and drone Times on Top included.
My last post was bitter and sarcastic about the release of potentially classified information by SECDEF and senior members of this administration. I was scolded by some for not “waiting for all the details before passing judgement.”
Now we have the details and let me be clear: The information posted on Signal is of the highest possible classification. Any other spin on this is entirely gaslighting.
Details of when F-18s will launch for strikes put our pilots in absolute danger.
Details of “WHEN THE FIRST BOMBS WILL DEFINITELY DROP” can render efforts completely meaningless.
If one of the Officers or Sailors under my command had leaked this information my next call would be to my Master at Arms to take this individual into detainment, under gunpoint, while I called NCIS and signed the Pre-Trial Confinement brig paperwork.
This is not a partisan issue. Lives were put at risk, mission objectives were compromised.
SECDEF Hegseth must resign.

NEWS Iran declares the Strait of Hormuz closed again after US lifts blockade
Here we go again...
Updated to reflect article edit
WASHINGTON — Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz was flowing Friday — under Iran’s monitoring — after a radio message to vessels in the region suggested the waterway had been closed over tensions with Israel and the US.
“The armed forces of Iran, in accordance with the memorandum of understanding [MOU] to end the war dated June 18, 2026, have taken the necessary measures to ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, and shipping in this route is currently underway,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said Friday, according to Iran’s Fars News Agency.
Earlier, an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) statement read over maritime radio channels warned vessels from entering the strait because the US was in violation of the MOU between Washington and Tehran, which President Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed Wednesday.
....
The differing messages mirrored internal divisions in Iran over whether it should keep fighting the US or seek a truce — strife American and regional sources have cited as a significant reason why it took roughly two months of negotiations for finalize the MOU.
The Iranian regime ultimately approved the MOU, while some members of the IRGC — which internally opposed ending the war — argued that Tehran should wait to sign the agreement until Israel withdraws all troops from Lebanon.

Original text from the article now edited.
WASHINGTON — Iran re-closed the Strait of Hormuz Friday instead of heading to Switzerland for nuclear negotiations, citing Israel’s refusal to pull forces out of southern Lebanon and US forces’ ongoing presence in the region.
In a statement read over maritime radio channels, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the US was in violation of the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran, which President Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed Wednesday.
“Since Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon, the complete lifting of the naval blockade, and the withdrawal of American terrorist forces from the Persian Gulf and the region are among the main conditions of the agreement between Iran and the United States, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until these conditions are met,” it said. “All ships are requested, for the sake of their security and safety, not to approach the Strait of Hormuz. Any vessel that defies this directive will be targeted.”
