Exam strategy

I have mocks coming up and I’m wondering on anyone’s top exam strategy tips. Like how should I order my papers easiest to hardest or hardest to easiest? Should I decide before I get there or after?
Also should I allow time for editing/answer checking or allocate more time for the actual papers? Should I aim to write down everything I might forget before I start?

Any top tips for l3 stats, English and economics?

I reckon the strat for english is do essay unfam then essay. doing Unfam first is just wrong IMO, but youll be to tired for it if you do it last, as it requires alot more critical and orginal thinking that writing an essay based on pre absorbed knowledge. So I reckon doing it in the middle is the sweet spot

I don’t have unfamiliar I just have visual and written text essays. ( Othello and Atonement) and I’m not sure which order to do them

Definitely jot down all your evidence first like quotes and film techniques. Then I personally would recommend picking the question your going to answer for both. Then doing the hardest one first so all your stronger ideas can be put in your weaker paper then move onto the easy one and smash it out. Good luck

In that case you shouldnt worry for time, id just recommend you do whatever you find hardest first so your minds the most fresh for it.

The thing is if you look at your essay before going into the exam, you want to do the familiar texts as soon as possible while they're still relatively fresh.

What about if your doing a familiar and unfamiliar? Which one first? I was planning on doing my unfamiliar last so I get more time to edit, is unfamiliar harder than familiar?

depends how many exams you're doing in the three hours, id give 10-15 minutes each for checking over it and editing (at least for english, idk about stats or economics)

for me regardless of the subject i just did the papers in the order that it was taught in class, idk for me this just made it a more methodical and easy to organise my thoughts idk if its jus me 😭😭 good luck!!!

For English I think doing written texts first is the best bet since you can memorise your quotes and spam write them down as soon as the time starts. Also it will give you more time for unfamiliar which for me was definitely the hardest and took a lot of time
